In return, he received a few Escudos but a wealth of knowledge about turning the humble grape into such a blissful drink. A passionate, dedicated and service focused Wine Consultant and Connoisseur with extensive expertise globally.


Demonstrating the strategic vision, financial acumen and commercial expertise combined with the technical aptitude, palate and flexibility to understand and exceed any client’s requirements; this articulate and energetic entrepreneur delivers new opportunities and a bespoke service to significantly increase client portfolio values.


A well respected and trusted advisor with extensive sales & marketing expertise, supported by a proven track record in building international strategic alliances with 3rd parties, importers and local producers; thereby gaining competitive advantage with access to lean supply chains, emerging products, and local, regional and global markets. Claudio participated as a Judge for Decanter World Wine Awards since 2010 judging for Portugal, Argentina, Chile, Brazil and recently for Asia and spent several years building a wine merchant business introducing Portuguese wines to on/off trade and private clients in UK.


After 18 years leaving in London, Claudio spent also sometime in Zurich and Moscow developing projects in those exciting markets of Switzerland & Russia bringing wines from the most unknown regions from across the globe.

Carlos Ferreira

A passionate and motivated wine professional with proven expertise who demonstrates the flexibility and knowledge on wine and management. A strategically person who focus on customer requirements and market insight, very proactive and hard-working who executes duties with high performance to deliver the best results.


Carlos is a meticulously organiser when it comes to wine management, restructure and maintain wine cellars is his key strength. After 15 years of a career full of passion and dedication to his profession, Carlos keeps developing his knowledge by seeking new trends and relevant emerging areas.


As a City worker for more than 6 years, Manager at the The Don Bistro Carlos has an amazing ability to read his clients’ needs and provide the best service/products.


Joined the prestigious Sommelier Wine Awards in 2015 and he is currently part of the Senior Judging panel.

Liam Steevenson MW

‘The youngest person to pass the Master of Wine Exam, Liam Steevenson has a global reputation for wine production, business and communication’


A driven, financially focussed individual with a passion for wine, the people that make it and the places that influence quality and style. Liam has built strong working relationships within the global wine industry, forged through twenty plus years of working with the UK’s leading wine merchants. An excellent communicator, he has always tried to push the boundaries of the wine industry, helped by an ability to see the wider picture without missing the importance of fine detail. Working within the constraints of a large corporate company (Waitrose/Bibendum) and also having been able to exercise entrepreneurial skills whilst running his own companies (RED&WHITE & Global Wine Solutions) has installed a very balanced understanding of commercial needs and business success.


Liam is also a winemaker, working in France, Spain, New Zealand and India to produce wine brands that he either owns or bespoke for retailers and wholesalers in the global market.

Marie Von Ahm

Fine Wines and Luxury Expert

A specialist luxury marketing and sales entrepreneur with substantial experience in start up wine businesses, international distribution and media. Educated in Denmark, and based in Luxembourg and Spain. Marie is a passionate and highly driven wine professional with unique skills across several disciplines including critical wine tasting, new product development, brand marketing, business development, education and management. Permanent member of the prestigious Grand Jury du Vin; a fine wine ”think tank” and tasting panel comprising the most influential wine critics in Europe. Marie worked alongside James Suckling, tasting wines and writing articles and has also contributed to Danish wine magazine Gastro and Fine Magazines.


Marie is international wine trade specialist for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), currently developing an innovative loyalty program, mobile app and e-commerce for the largest wine importer in Ukraine.


She worked as the exclusive wine expert for føtex, Dansk Supermarket Group (DK), developing educational and promotional content for web and SoMe, a wine club and a loyalty program.


Marie is former partner at micro- luxury champagne brand Boërl & Kroff, and now devoted to the global launch and branding of Angel Champagne. She is also the founding owner of Wine Cloth Company (DK) producing luxurious tablecloths with prints of wine regions in collaboration with Georg Jensen Damask. Marie has worked in the wine industry since a very early age driven by her insatiable passion for wine and entrepreneurship. Marie relies on her Wine and Spirit Education Trust Diploma qualification, multi-lingual skills, wealth of business experience and trusted relationships, aiming to deliver unparalleled level of expertise and worldwide contacts.

Micaela Martins Ferreira

A creative and dynamic wine focused professional with proven expertise optimising traditional, e-commerce and social media marketing channels; who demonstrates the flexibility and commercial astuteness to balance organisational and client objectives against varying constraints to drive brand awareness and competitive advantage. A strategic thinker and visionary who naturally interprets complex data, customer requirements and market insight, builds collaborative partnerships and executes high performing strategies to deliver tangible financial results through increased ROI, profit and market share; with a diligent approach and a positive attitude to problem resolution.


A proactive and results-focused multilingual leader with exceptional organisational skills, marketing prowess and the ability to engage individuals from all cultures, sectors and at all levels whilst working to a consistently high standard under pressure with professionalism and integrity; who will significantly contribute to the success of any business.


With more than 10 years’ experience in London and currently as a Deputy Competition Director of the world’s only on-trade wine competition part of the UK’s on-trade leader magazine, Micaela has extremely important connections and a vast knowledge of the market.

Creative director, entrepreneur and self-proclaimed dreamer Pedro Antunes is the founder at Sparrow Creative Solutions. A global designer that ignites movements, build brands and change perspectives, helping businesses, non-profits an governments expand their capacity for impact through design-driven innovation.


Antunes upholds design thinking, empathy and user-centric design as the be-all, end-all. But even then, he believes that one piece of work, one design isn’t where true impact happens. Instead, he wants to facilitate whole groups to change their values and behaviors, leading to a better user end experience that consequently holds better business value.
